This piece explores an often exploitive relationship between the artist and model. Sometimes artists will tear away the identity of their model to create the image they have in mind. They may abstract the model's form, turn the model into another person, or recklessly expose imperfections. The transformation from reality to canvas is often a violent one and can leave the model feeling betrayed, disappointed and used.
